Stream repair and erosion control

During winter rains, a fish bearing stream adjacent to a building had become diverted against the building and washed out the soil from beneath its footings and slab. The damaged area was not exposed to view, and the unsupported walls and slabs had cracked.

UNIMARK constructed a temporary bypass for the stream, resupported the building with new concrete foundations and constructed a new stream bed channel that was fish friendly, while satisfying the requirements of the City of Bellevue, Corps of Engineers and Department of Fish and Wildlife.
