Talking Rain*
Coordinating the logistics of building a new 100,000-square foot warehouse next to a fully operational manufacturing and distribution facility was one of the keys to a successful project. This was accomplished through clear communication and teamwork with critical production schedules and delivery commitments. Another key to success was finding a way to satisfy a county requirement to test the newly constructed infiltration system for site storm retention. Our team responded with a coordinated effort to pump 750,000 gallons of water into the system within a 7-hour period. The success of this test provided both the owner and the county with peace of mind.

Mt. Vernon Transportation and Operations Facility*
The typical hard bid public works project does not lend itself to relationship-building due to the fact that the selection process is often based solely on price. The team experience at UNIMARK thinks differently. By using a partnering approach with the owner and architect, our team was able to strengthen relationships, protect dollars and improve the schedule on this 10-acre site with three new buildings totaling 30,000 square feet.

* This project was not completed by UNIMARK Construction Group LLC. This discussion is intended to highlight the size and complexity of some of the unique projects with which the specific UNIMARK team members have had experience, and the skill and experience they add to the UNIMARK team.
