Redmond Group Health
UNIMARK Construction Group was selected to renovate three specific clinics for Group Health: Hearing, Vision, and Behavioral Health. These clinics are located between 4 floors at their Redmond Facility. Preliminary budgeting was required for the separate clinics to finalize lease negotiations with the building owner. UNIMARK’s final construction budget came in under that preliminary pricing. Many challenges were met while planning and constructing this project, including the phasing of all work into sections that would accommodate the needs of the operational facility, specialty installation of a sound proof hearing test booth, reconfiguration of entire floors, and extending existing walls up to the structural slab above to achieve additional sound proofing in the clinic rooms. UNIMARK lead the management team in careful coordination with specialty equipment suppliers while working hand in hand with the designers, consultants and end users to construct spaces specific to the needs of Group Health.

Evergreen Hospital
UNIMARK Construction Group’s association with Evergreen Hospital began in 1998 when the hospital planned a 2,600-square foot expansion of their east-wing penthouse. UNIMARK was tasked with installing new cooling towers, air-handling units, chillers and elevators while maximizing the use of the available space for the new equipment.
UNIMARK and Evergreen Hospital partnered again in 2003 as the hospital expanded upward with a 4,000-square foot addition. The new addition included Surgical Intensive Recovery and Level 1 Recovery units. Extensive renovations to 9,200 square feet of Operating Rooms, Sterile Core and Level 2 Recovery rooms were also included.
All projects were carefully phased to support ongoing hospital activities and maintain the integrity of the sterile environment during construction, including vital surgical and support areas.

Valley Medical Center – Central Sterile Laboratory
UNIMARK Construction Group was awarded the multi-million dollar remodel of Valley Medical Center’s Central Sterile Laboratory. The project included the relocation of the pharmacy offices, environmental services offices, interior finishes, casework equipment and elevators. The laboratory, pharmacy, surgery and operating rooms required uninterrupted operations and an uncompromised sterile environment.
